Wake Up Sheeple!

Read this. The flaw in Bush’s we have to fight them over here so we don’t fight them at home logic. One wise Muslim’s take.
But peace seems far off now, as the "War on Terror" takes another dimension after London's events. This "War On Terror" has only been successful in creating terrorists. For Muslims, this war has meant, and will continue to mean, more dead Muslims, and then retaliation - an endless cycle. It's no wonder Muslims meet it with scepticism.

Sheepole comment smack down. I received a comment about a recent post (from a Christian blogger Paul Tamez) about how we Liberals need to frame the whole debate over the Rove treason affair, and how it should always go back to the 16-word lie in Bush’s State of the Union address, and all the other lies that led us into this illegal war. Her is my response to him.
You guys take the cake. It's the same old wah wah wah, whining and complaining from the left all the time.

No I wasn’t complaining I was just pointing out that outing a CIA agent in the time of war is serious - TREASON. When President Clinton received a consensual blow-job (which by the way was none of our business), you Conservatives were in a tizzy, we had a Constitutional crisis on our hands. Where is the outrage now, um let me see, a lie about a consensual blow-job versus the treasonous outing of a CIA agent in a time of war? Even your President says he wants to get to the bottom of this, why don’t you, why are you so quick to label it whining?
I was ready to go to war the afternoon of September 11, 2001, when terrorists attacked our soil.

Hey so was I, in Afghanistan, where the perpetrators who attacked us were, hey, remember that bin Laden guy, where is he, uh, Paul, what about him? Remember your President talking tough, “Wanted Dead or Alive,” and all, why doesn’t he talk about him any more. But No, your President was in such a big hurry to move on to Iraq, which had little if any connections to bin Laden, al Qaeda, no WMD’s, didn’t attack us, and was no imminent threat, that your Bush boy didn’t finish the job in Afghanistan. Now Afghanistan is festering again because Bush took is eye off the ball.
And it was against an enemy who hides in caves and won't identify themselves with a uniform. The war is against not only them but any nation who harbors them.

Hey Paul where were the recent London bombers living - in a cave? By your logic, since they were living in London (Britain must be harboring them) we should attack Britain while we are at it!? Oh, and by your logic how many countries are harboring terrorists, ten, twenty, fifty, so we should attack them all. I would venture to guess that there are plenty of terrorists right here in America, maybe by your logic we should attack ourselves? I hate to break it to you but there isn’t a finite number of terrorists that we can kill, and once we kill all of them it is over. The problem is that the more we kill the more we create. Go here for one level headed Muslims take. Also, check The American Conservative. This editorial cartoon below says it all!

Stop your whining and remember your countrymen and women that were lost to an act of war.

OH, Just like your conservative buddies who continue to say one thing while cutting veteran benefits at the same time and sending them into this war without the proper equipment to begin with! Paul, do a little bit of research, here is a good place to start. Also, go here.
Weapons of Mass destruction? His name was Sadaam Hussein. We got him. Now it's time to strategically set up a base in Iraq. What an opportunity.

Ye, what a great opportunity to create more and more terrorists, there were NO suicide bombings in Iraq prior to our occupation, now they are a daily occurrence. How do you think that makes the average Iraqi citizen feel, my guess is that it makes them a little bit pissed off and not quite ready to embrace Bush’s brand of democracy. Sadaam Hussein a WMD, OH, that is priceless, yes he was a WMD towards his own people, but not towards us. Let me guess you are Pro-life, all for the sanctity of life, but the killing of innocent citizens in an illegal war don’t fit into your “sanctity of life” view. What a hypocrite! Paul I'm certain you are a good person, good family man, Christian and all, but unfortunately you are a Sheepole who is blinded by unquestioning patriotism. We should all be patriotic to a point but we should never stop asking questions of our goverment. Blind Faith in Bad Leadership is not Patriotism!

Legal words of wisdom from Sheeple hearder and college dropout Sean Hannity:
It's clear that by any objective measure Karl Rove is going to be in the clear - by any objective measure.

Remember these words, Hannity is going to eat them.

Put the right frame around Rove, the one that hangs him and the other guilty Bushies. As Daniel Schorr points out today:
Let me remind you that the underlying issue in the Karl Rove controversy is not a leak, but a war and how America was misled into that war.

The whole Rove treason affair goes right back to those 16 words that Bush read in his 2003 State of the Union Address.
The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.

Every Democratic politician and talking head should be within the same frame and on the same page when making any comment on this affair. As George Lakoff, a UC Berkeley professor of linguistics and cognitive science, points out, “language always comes with what is called "framing." Every word is defined relative to a conceptual framework. The framework of the Rove affair should ALWAYS be about those 16-words and how we were misled into this war. As Lakoff has observed, “conservatives have spent decades defining their ideas, carefully choosing the language with which to present them, and building an infrastructure to communicate them.” In other words, Conservatives name the frame and they all stick to it. Repeat after me Democrats, “Karl Rove is guilty of treason and it all goes back to those 16 words and the lies that have led us into this illegal war." An illegal war from which America will be suffering the consequences for years to come.

Susan Estrich thy name is whore. Here is what pseudo Democrat Susan Estrich had to say about Bush SCOTUS nominee John Roberts:
He is a nice conservative, he is a pleasant conservative.
A nice conservative who worked on the 2000 Florida recount (correct me if I'm wrong were you not a big part of the Gore campaign?) and the same Roberts also worked for Kenneth Starr (who BTW belongs behind bars). WTF Susan, and you call your self a Democrat. How is that FAUX money treating you? Turn and commence the walk of shame, you whore. Sorry for the harsh language but if fits. Go on keep feeding at the FAUX teat Susan, how do you sleep at night?

Press finally coming to its senses - openly laughs at the pResident’s ridiculous claim that “we have a serious ongoing investigation” and the White House fails to doctor the transcripts.
Here is the relevant portion:
Q
Mr. President, you said you don't want to talk about an ongoing investigation, so I'd like to ask you, regardless of whether a crime was committed, do you still intend to fire anyone found to be involved in the CIA leak case? And are you displeased that Karl Rove told a reporter that Ambassador Joe Wilson's wife worked for the Agency on WMD issues?

PRESIDENT BUSH:
We have a serious ongoing investigation here. (Laughter.) And it's being played out in the press. And I think it's best that people wait until the investigation is complete before you jump to conclusions. And I will do so, as well. I don't know all the facts. I want to know all the facts. The best place for the facts to be done is by somebody who's spending time investigating it. I would like this to end as quickly as possible so we know the facts, and if someone committed a crime, they will no longer work in my administration.

My favorite part is highlighted above. Hey, I have a question for you Mr. pResident, why don’t you ask for the facts, after all you are the pResident, you are in charge aren't you? Look at this creepy picture below, Rove is never far away, after all he is your brain, and you are his creation, why don’t you just turn around and ask him for the facts?

Better yet, why didn't you ask him for the facts two years ago when this whole affair began to unfold, or did you? If you did, which I suspect you did, either Rove lied to you, or he told you the truth and you have been covering and lying for him the whole time. In either case, this whole Rove affair goes much deeper and begs the question, what does Bush know and when did you know it?

Back to the 50's with John Roberts.
Look at this picture of little John Roberts, Jr. son on Bushie SCOTUS Justice nominee John Roberts. If you wanted any evidence that Bush was nominating another white-guy straight out of the 1950's values crowd look at how his son is dressed? I was born in 1955 and my mother (shame on her) used to dress me just like this poor kid! Ah, and notice the obligatory Stepford wife dressed in a pink suit, also right out of the 1950's - case closed.

Rove Scandal - Operation look the other way moves into full swing. I see our glorious leader is going to make another prime-time address this evening to announce his nominee for the Supreme Court. Why is it that Bush makes more of these prime time speeches than any other President, but has held far fewer real press conferences? Um, I wonder? And how about the timing, I regretfully came across El Drugbo (Rush) for a moment today, and he said that it was absurd that there was any political timing in this announcement. WHAT! Are you kidding me, this is all about shifting the focus away from Rove, especially coming out of the devastating bad news weekend the Bushies had. On top of the fact that the American public (minus the 30% or so that are Sheepole) aren’t buying their disgusting talking points campaign of lies, diversion, and smears. In an ABC News poll, only 25% of Americans think that Bush is cooperating with the investigation. Oh, and Sheepole please remind me what is your glorious leader’s approval rating? Can you say 42% (and this was just before the Rove treason affair kicked into gear), for gosh sakes, at the height of the drummed up Republican witch hunt impeachment Clinton’s approval ratings were in the 60’s! With the Bushies everything they do is about politics. Absolutely disgusting, but at least the non-Sheepole Americans aren't buying the shit that the Bushies are shoveling and frantically throwing to the fan. The Rove story might die down for a day or two, but it has gotten too many legs and too much traction, and will not go away, and I predict will come back with a vengeance.
