"To begin work on Wednesday." Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the hurricane occur on Monday, why didn't he begin work on say Sunday before the hurricane hit? Isn't the PRIMARY duty of the National Guard to protect the States, not fight in unnecessary wars that are only making us less safe - creating more terrorists?

RightOn - At a minimum would you have not ended your vacation and got your ass back to Washington if nothing else for symbolic purposes? Do you think playing golf, struming a guitar, eating birthday cake, etc. while the nation is suffering isn't just a little bit insensative? What kind of a human being are you, or are you so blinded by ideology that you can't see the damage done!? Let me guess you call yourself a Christian? Where is the compassion. Your point about nit-picking over the number of minutes that the Bubble Boy sat on his ass in a classroom like a deer in headlights is lame at best - is that all you've got? Pathetic. But hang on to the myth - you will be going down with the Bubble Boy's ship! I expect more in my Presidents than you do!

I would be very nervous to think the president of the US would watch/read the news to find out what is happening in the world. Your Bubble Boy name just doesn't hold water.
